A General Manager is an experienced restaurant leader that is dedicated to driving operational excellence through a memorable Guest experience. GMs lead by example and provide guidance in their restaurant to all Team Members, Shift Managers, and Assistant Managers. GMs are people-people who are passionate about helping their teams learn and grow every day. GMs are responsible for onboarding new members of the team and maintaining a positive work environment by cultivating a positive restaurant culture. GMs are their restaurant’s Popeyes® brand champion and inspire their teams to deliver food to guests that is cooked to perfection, made with love, and served up with Popeyes® famous Cajun Hospitality.

What You’ll Do

As a General Manager, you’ll be the heartbeat of the restaurant—leading operations, inspiring your team, and delivering crave-worthy experiences every shift. Responsibilities include:

  • Recruiting, training, and developing high-performing team members
  • Managing food and labor costs to maximize profitability
  • Ensuring top-tier cleanliness and food safety standards
  • Overseeing kitchen and front-of-house operations
  • Handling guest concerns with professionalism and care
  • Monitoring inventory and placing timely supply orders
  • Leading daily operations with confidence and consistency
  • Hosting regular team meetings to share updates and celebrate wins
  • Collaborating with leadership to drive performance and innovation

What You Bring

  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • 1+ years management experience in the restaurant industry
  • Available to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Effective communicator with guests, team members, and leadership
  • Strong understanding of both front-of-house and back-of-house operations
  • Ability to motivate, coach, and delegate effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs
  • Frequent kneeling, lifting, and product handling
  • Comfortable with physical tasks related to prep, stocking, and inventory
