As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our Azure cloud infrastructure and services. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of Azure-related tasks, including but not limited to Azure DevOps, Azure Infrastructure management, Azure Backup, and Azure Policy enforcement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of our Azure-based systems.
Key responsibilities.
- Design, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure to meet business requirements.
- Implement and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
- Develop and enforce Azure policies for compliance and security.
- Configure and maintain Azure Backup solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to troubleshoot and resolve Azure-related issues.
- Monitor Azure resources and make recommendations for optimization and cost-efficiency.
- Stay updated with the latest Azure technologies and best practices to ensure the organization's cloud environment remains cutting-edge.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and 4 to 8 years of experience in the DevOps space
- Proven experience in managing Azure cloud environments and services.
- Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Proficiency in Azure Infrastructure setup, configuration, and maintenance.
- Experience with Azure Backup solutions and data protection strategies.
- Familiarity with Azure Policy for governance and compliance.
- Microsoft Azure certification(s) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
