Job Description

Position: Key Account Manager (KAM) Argentina
Department: Sales
Reports to: National Sales Manager Argentina

Main Function of the Role

Our client is seeking a Key Account Manager to manage and grow existing clients while developing new relationships to expand channels profitably and achieve revenue targets. The role involves driving outbound and domestic sales, ensuring effective operational interfaces with other departments, and maintaining service levels and policies aligned with company practices.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and grow business with key customers in the assigned market area.

  • Build strong relationships with key decision makers of current and potential clients.

  • Define, together with the Country Manager, a clear entry strategy for new clients adapted to the local market.

  • Organize and attend travel and trade shows in coordination with the Country Manager.

  • Develop and execute an effective sales strategy with the following priorities:

    • Conduct daily meetings with at least 5 current or potential clients.

    • Achieve sales targets set by the Country Manager.

    • Develop and secure new business opportunities.

    • Increase sales with existing customers.

    • Collect market intelligence and competitor analysis.

    • Provide product feedback to support higher sales.

  • Monitor performance against budgets, identify variances, and recommend or take corrective action.

  • Deliver training programs (online and in-person) to agents.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers in the assigned territory.

  • Maintain an updated and accurate agent database for marketing initiatives.

  • Support the Accounts Receivable department when required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the travel industry.

  • Proven successful sales track record in the travel sector.

  • Strong communication and public speaking skills, with the ability to deliver presentations to both retailers and wholesalers.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.

  • Strong oral and written English language skills.

  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed.

  • Company sponsored training
