We’re looking for a Senior Solution Developer to join our growing Solutions team at AutoStore. This senior, customer-facing role provides technical leadership across AutoStore’s global projects, representing the company from a solution design and technical strategy perspective. You will help shape large strategic opportunities, strengthen AutoStore’s positioning with key customers and partners, and drive innovation in the intralogistics automation space.
In this role, you will act as a key technical advisor and thought leader, working closely with strategic customers, partners, and internal teams to design and deliver innovative automation solutions. The position reports directly to the Vice President, Solutions Development, providing visibility and influence at the strategic level within the organization. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine deep technical expertise with cross-functional collaboration and make a tangible global impact.
Key Responsibilities
Engage with strategic and global accounts to support sales and business development on high-impact opportunities.
Consolidate market trends and customer needs per vertical in collaboration with customers and commercial teams.
Represent AutoStore in executive-level technical discussions with customers and partners.
Contribute to commercial strategies to win key opportunities.
Design end-to-end intralogistics automation solutions, from concept to implementation.
Provide expert guidance on technologies like pallet shuttles, AMRs, mini-loads, and WCS/WMS.
Validate complex automation architectures in collaboration with the Product Business Unit.
Coach and mentor junior engineers and consultants.
Deliver structured training to partners, customers, and internal teams.
Drive enablement initiatives for AutoStore’s partner network.
Support development of solution design standards and best practices.
Foster a collaborative, low-ego team environment with strong communication and influencing skills.
Represent the brand with professionalism and authority in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
Travel Requirement
Willingness and ability to travel internationally for customer and partner engagements.
Key Qualifications
10+ years of experience in intralogistics and warehouse automation.
Proven expertise in both hardware and software aspects of automation technologies.
Structured and analytical thinker with a strategic mindset.
Clear, engaging communicator with strong influencing skills.
Innovative, resilient, and proactive—drives results and makes things happen.
