Article Student Living is in need of a National Facilities Support professional who will contribute to the Facilities Department, leading projects that support our strategic goals. The salary range for this position is $80K - $90K plus an annual bonus. You will report to the VP, Facilities and Capital Projects.
Your Mission:
- Travel between assigned facilities to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
- Troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Perform general building maintenance including painting, carpentry, and minor renovations.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests and resolve issues promptly.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed through Entrata Work Order app, including materials used, and time spent.
- Collaborate with Property Managers and other technicians to ensure coverage.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Help with vendor coordination and oversight.
- Help maintain Article's maintenance standardization program for all communities,
- Train maintenance associates with new hire and mentorship programs and assist with orientation and other onboarding practices.
- Ensure safe working practices are being followed by all maintenance staff concerning proper equipment handling and safety practices.
- Help interview new hires.
Your Track Record:
- 5+ years' experience in property management, hospitality, or construction.
- Demonstrated skills in operating and maintaining year-round programs and maintaining facilities.
- Familiarization with Microsoft systems.
- management fields with demonstrated work experience in maintenance operations.
- Experience in the construction industry, terminology, codes, documentation, and building performance issues.
- Certifications in (EPA – Universal & CPO), OSHA10.
- Demonstrated knowledge working with both vertical and horizontal buildings and high-rise boiler and chiller systems.
