We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure & Cloud Engineeringwith deep expertise in Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), EUC, Wintel, and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments. This role is ideal for a senior technical with 5+ years of experience driving infrastructure modernization, optimizing performance, and delivering scalable cloud solutions.

You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing secure, high-performance virtual desktop environments while leading infrastructure initiatives and mentoring technical teams.

Responsabilities

Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) & EUC Architecture

• Design and deliver end-to-end AVD deployments, including host pool architecture, autoscaling, and image/session-host lifecycle management.
• Optimize FSLogix Profiles and Office Containers leveraging Azure Files Premium, Azure NetApp Files (ANF), and Cloud Cache.
• Diagnose and resolve complex login, profile, and OneDrive performance issues.
• Improve session responsiveness through GPO tuning, startup optimization, AppData management, and FSLogix configuration.
• Automate AVD provisioning using PowerShell DSC, Azure DevOps, and Azure Image Builder.
• Enhance storage performance and stabilize VHDX growth to improve overall user experience.

Cloud & Infrastructure Engineering

• Architect and manage Azure environments (subscriptions, RBAC, networking, governance).
• Lead 365 hybrid migrations and Exchange integrations.
• Manage Windows Server environments and Active Directory upgrades.
• Oversee VMware vSphere, ESXi lifecycle management, Hyper-V, and server virtualization platforms.
• Implement performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis best practices.
• Manage storage integrations including Fiber Channel zoning and enterprise storage systems.
• Support large-scale enterprise environments (2000+ end users).

Automation & DevOps

• Develop automation frameworks using PowerShell.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Reduce manual operations through infrastructure scripting and process optimization.

Security & Compliance

• Ensure infrastructure security, compliance, and governance alignment.
• Apply best practices across network, cloud, and virtualization environments.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure and Cloud Engineering.
• Extensive hands-on expertise with:
• Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
• FSLogix (Profiles & Office Containers)
• Windows Server & Active Directory
• Microsoft 365 / O365
• Azure Administration & Architecture
• VMware vSphere / ESXi / Hyper-V
• Strong PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
• Deep understanding of VDI storage optimization and performance tuning.
• Proven experience leading enterprise infrastructure initiatives.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
