What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a multi-faceted Technical Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. This role is ideal for an early-career professional eager to build skills in implementation, managed services, and ongoing client engagement while juggling multiple projects at once. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams (Design, Development, Sales, and Operations) to deliver exceptional digital experiences; such as local pages, guided search experiences, bespoke websites, and custom integrations. You’ll also uncover new opportunities for client growth and contribute to platform enhancements and data-driven recommendations.
The ideal candidate combines technical understanding (including front-end development concepts) with strong communication skills, a consultative mindset, and the ability to translate client needs into actionable project plans.
Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Management
Plan, coordinate, and oversee multiple concurrent digital projects: spanning implementation, managed services, and service growth initiatives, from initiation to completion.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, adhering to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Maintain clear, proactive client communication, including status updates, milestone reviews, and expectation management.
Client Success & Growth
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building trusted relationships through consistent delivery and value-add insights through the use of Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and data visualization tools.
Identify opportunities for upsell, cross-sell, or service expansion based on client needs and platform potential.
Provide analytics reviews, performance recommendations, and guidance on platform updates or optimizations.
Technical Collaboration
Partner with developers, designers, and client success managers to scope, execute, and deliver high-quality solutions.
Leverage a working knowledge of front-end development technologies (React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS) to communicate with technical teams effectively, validate requirements, and ensure implementation accuracy.
Familiarity with Content Management System (CMS) platforms and their configuration/management.
Understanding of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) to coordinate, test, and troubleshoot integrations, ensuring seamless and reliable data exchange between platforms.
Assist with testing, QA reviews, and integration coordination.
Continuous Improvement
- Document processes, recommend workflow optimizations, and contribute to scaling operational best practices.
- Stay informed on industry trends, platform updates, and emerging AI tools to bring innovative ideas to client projects.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Management, or a related field.
Experience:
2-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in a digital or technology-focused environment.
Previous agency experience and certification in project management (e.g., PMP, CAPM) are a plus.
Technical Skills:
Basic understanding of React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and general front-end development concepts.
Familiarity with project management tools (Trello, Jira, Slack) and collaboration platforms.
Knowledge of web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Yext Analytics, etc.) preferred.
Soft Skills:
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional team.
Benefits
The typical base pay range is $80,000 - $110,000 per year plus benefits, depending on experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
