About You

You are an integration-focused engineer who enjoys connecting systems, enabling data flow, and designing scalable API-led solutions. You thrive in environments where reliability, security, and reusability are critical, and you take pride in building clean, well-architected integrations. You enjoy collaborating with product, architecture, and engineering teams to turn business requirements into robust technical solutions.

You bring to Applaudo the following competencies:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Solid hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including Mule 4, DataWeave, and API-led connectivity.
• Strong background building and maintaining RESTful APIs, RAML specifications, and SOAP services.
• Experience with integration patterns, microservices architectures, and API security protocols such as OAuth 2.0 and JWT.
• Proficiency integrating systems using connectors for platforms such as Salesforce, SAP, databases, and legacy systems.
• Familiarity with API Manager for applying security policies and managing the API lifecycle.
• Working knowledge of deploying integrations in CloudHub, On-Premise, and Runtime Fabric environments.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools, including Anypoint Monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
• Proficiency using Anypoint Studio, Postman, and related API development tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to design scalable, reusable, and maintainable integration solutions.
• Experience working in Agile environments, participating in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Advanced English proficiency, as you will collaborate with global and US-based stakeholders.

You will be accountable for the following responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Product Owners and Architects to translate business requirements into scalable integration solutions.
• Design, develop, and deploy APIs and integration flows using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Implement and enforce API security policies, ensuring best practices in API design and deployment.
• Participate in code reviews, share technical knowledge, and provide mentorship to junior developers when applicable.
• Automate deployment processes and monitor the health and performance of integration solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues to ensure system reliability and stability.
• Document technical designs, integration flows, and deployment procedures throughout the SDLC.
• Continuously contribute to process improvements and technical innovation within the integration team.
