We’re seeking a diligent and creative Wordpress Website Designer Developer to help our client’s New Zealand based Web Design Agency. If you have a passion for web design and development, with a keen eye for aesthetics and usability, thie remote role is a great fit for you!

Responsibilities

• Design and develop visually appealing, user-friendly WordPress websites that reflect the clients' branding and objectives.
• Customise WordPress themes and plugins to enhance website functionality and performance.
• Ensure websites are responsive, optimised for speed, and compatible with mobile and browsers.
• Perform website maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting as needed.
• Work with clients to gather requirements and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct website audits to identify areas for improvement and implement optimisations.
• Stay up to date with the latest web technologies and design trends to ensure best practices are applied.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer or Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
• Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS, including theme and plugin development.
• Strong with page builders (e.g., Elementor, Flatsome) and responsive design techniques.
• Experience with website performance optimisation and SEO best practices.
• Excellent attention to detail, diligent and responsible.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members.
• Access to your own computer/laptop and a reliable internet connection.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
