The Systems Administrator is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting Alliance Laundry Systems' hybrid infrastructure, including on-premises systems, cloud platforms, identity management, and enterprise applications.
Requirements
- Administer and support hybrid infrastructure environments (VMware/VxRail, Windows Server, AWS, Azure, and SaaS platforms)
- Manage virtual servers, storage, backups, and disaster recovery solutions
- Monitor system health, performance, and capacity planning across compute, storage, and network services
- Participate in vulnerability remediation and lifecycle management of systems
- Support enterprise identity platforms (e.g., Okta, IAM Identity Center, Active Directory)
- Implement and maintain role-based access controls (RBAC) and least-privilege principles
- Support audit requests and access reviews
- Support logging, monitoring, and endpoint/server hardening initiatives
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing
- Maintain documentation for change management, system configurations, and operational procedures
- Develop and maintain scripts and integrations to automate operational tasks
- Identify opportunities to improve system reliability, reduce manual effort, and standardize processes
- Contribute to documentation and knowledge base improvements
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues across infrastructure and enterprise applications
- Serve as escalation point for Level 1 and Level 2 technical teams
- Coordinate with vendors for support and system upgrades
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
