ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Full Stack Engineer on the Tax Research team, you will develop scalable web applications and backend services that power a cutting‑edge research platform for tax professionals. Working with React.js, Node.js, Python, and AWS, you'll enable fast content discovery, complex data processing, and high‑performance workflows. This role offers a chance to influence architecture, optimize integrations, and collaborate across product, design, and engineering teams in a dynamic, impact‑driven environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Build and maintain modern web applications using React.js;
• Develop scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js;
• Use Python for backend services, scripting, or data processing;
• Design and maintain data models and backend integrations;
• Deploy and maintain applications in AWS cloud environments;
• Write automated tests to ensure reliability and maintainability;
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high‑quality solutions;
• Contribute to technical discussions and architecture improvements.

MUST HAVES

• 5+ years of experience with React.js building modern web applications;
• 5+ years of backend development experience with Node.js and Python ;
• Strong experience designing and building RESTful APIs ;
• Hands‑on experience working with AWS cloud services ;
• Experience working with relational databases;
• Experience developing applications across the full stack;
• Strong problem‑solving and collaboration skills;

NICE TO HAVES

• Experience working with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB;
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines;
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform);
• Experience mentoring engineers or contributing to technical leadership.
