Associate Trainer – Technical Training (Contract)

Remote | Australia‑Based | Associate Engagement

At _nology we’re building a high‑calibre Associate Faculty made up of hands‑on technical practitioners who want to play a meaningful role in developing deployable, high‑performing technology talent.

This is an opportunity to partner with a forward‑thinking organisation delivering industry‑aligned, delivery‑focused training across Software Engineering, DevOps, Testing, Business Analysis, and AI, preparing individuals for real client environments from day one.

This Is Not Traditional Training

This is not classroom‑style, theory‑led training.

We’re looking for experienced practitioners who have delivered in real‑world, commercial environments and can translate that experience into practical, engaging learning that reflects how technology teams actually operate.

What You’ll Be Doing

As an Associate Trainer, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Delivering structured, high‑impact technical training within your area of expertise
  • Facilitating hands‑on learning through real‑world scenarios, labs, and project‑based delivery
  • Coaching and mentoring individuals to build technical capability and commercial awareness
  • Providing actionable feedback via code reviews, delivery simulations, and practical assessments
  • Contributing to the ongoing improvement of training content to ensure it remains current and industry‑relevant

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

We’re interested in experienced practitioners across one or more of the following:

Software Engineering: Java, Python, JavaScript, .NET
DevOps / Cloud: AWS, Azure, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes
Testing: Automation frameworks, QA engineering
Business Analysis: Agile delivery, requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement
AI / Data: Machine Learning, Python, applied AI use cases

You will likely bring:

  • Strong industry experience (typically 5+ years)
  • Experience mentoring, coaching or leading others
  • The ability to simplify complex concepts and make them practical
  • A pragmatic, delivery‑focused mindset

Benefits

Why Join Our Associate Training Team

  • Become part of a curated, high‑quality network of industry practitioners
  • Enjoy flexible, contract‑based engagements aligned to programme delivery
  • Play a meaningful role in shaping the next generation of Australian technology talent
  • Gain exposure to a range of organisations and real‑world delivery environments
  • Benefit from competitive contract day rates, reflective of experience and expertise

How the Associate Engagement Works

This is an Associate (contract) role. Delivery is scheduled in line with programme demand, with engagements ranging from short training modules to full programme delivery, depending on availability and areas of specialism.
