Location/Division Specific Information
This Accountant III role is based remotely in the United States within the Drug Substance Division of the Viral Vectors North America and Microbial Manufacturing Services entities.

A day in the Life:
- Perform revenue recognition in compliance with ASC 606.
- Manage assigned financial cycles to ensure transactions are accounted for appropriately and balances within subledgers are appropriate.
- Ensure the timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of monthly close activities.
- Prepare and review accounting entries and balance sheet account reconciliations to achieve completeness and accuracy.
- Assist with Internal and External audits as well as any SOX compliance initiatives.
- Involvement in Finance projects to drive financial reporting accuracy and reduction of low value work.
Challenge current processes to identify improvement opportunities.

Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting
- CPA Designation (preferred)
Experience
- 3 years of progressive relevant work experience.
- 2 years working for public accounting firm (preferred)
- Experience with ASC 606 compliance
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Advanced level MS Excel skills, strong overall PC skills
- Flawless attention to detail
- Proficient in accounting software SAP
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently but also within a team environment with a commitment to excellence and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple complex situations in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills to interact at various levels inside and outside the organization.
