I currently work as a private registered dietitian in Brazil. I help people improve their lifestyle and food choices. I guide people through weight loss and muscle gain.
I help people make better choices while on incretin-based therapies.
For me, food is really important, and I want to help people make better choices about what they eat and how they eat. This complex work requires every counseling session to be unique and tailored to the person. I also strongly believe that, despite our different experiences, we can work together to achieve something that benefits most of us. If we can help people improve how they see and behave around food, we can build a better future.
Previously, I worked as a teacher and lecturer.
At Boston Collaborative High School, I taught biology, physics, chemistry, and environmental science using a Problem-Based learning approach, designing hands-on science lessons and guiding individual student projects.
I also helped students use digital tools and artificial intelligence in their studies. My teaching has included science and nutrition courses, with theoretical and practical classes across biology, genetics, and related subjects.
At Tiradentes University Center, I taught students in six programs and developed and revised syllabi. I also served on the Nutrition course's deliberative council.
My PhD in Science focused on human and molecular genetics, and my research includes published work on hearing loss and genetics. I’m also a registered nutritionist with experience in clinical and sports nutrition.
