At Ci Collective Investments, I had ownership of the overall finance function for the management company and its holding company. I handled the monthly accounts process, prepared annual financial statements, and managed audit, tax, and VAT reporting.

On the operations side, I monitored portfolios, managed fund cash, completed trades, and worked with back-office administrators and portfolio managers. I also contributed to projects including the setup of foreign fund structures.

Before Ci, I worked in assurance at PwC Channel Islands and KPMG, focusing on financial services audits, including private equity funds, asset managers, and insurance. I’m a Chartered Accountant (SA), and since July 2018 I’ve been self-employed, conducting independent trading mainly in local South African indices.
