What I'm looking for

I'm looking to continue teaching Carnatic music in a supportive learning environment where I can create structured lessons, train students for performances and assessments, and help learners build confidence in vocal music.

I teach Carnatic vocal music to learners across age groups and skill levels, building foundations in voice culture, shruti alignment, rhythm, pronunciation, and musical expression.

At The Foundation School in Bangalore, I prepared students for inter-school, district, and state-level competitions, CBSE music assessments, and Carnatic practical examinations. I also led the school music band, choir practices, and cultural performances.

Previously at Natya Priya School of Dance, I taught varisais, geethams, simple kritis, and tala practice while preparing students for stage programs, annual days, and competitions. I coordinated with dance faculty to integrate Carnatic music into performances.

I hold an M.A. in Music focused on Carnatic Music and bring practical training in compositions, raga, tala, musicology, and performance. I create supportive, active classrooms and adapt lesson plans to support student learning and development.
