What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can build reliable, cleanly-architected backend systems for high-criticality real-time infrastructure. I want to own distributed systems reliability, incident resolution, and message-processing pipelines in teams that value robustness.

I’m a Backend Engineer focused on building and maintaining high-criticality systems in real-time infrastructure environments. At Indra, I maintain CNS/ATM backend services powering surveillance infrastructure across 15+ countries—systems where a production incident directly impacts air navigation services.

I care deeply about reliability and clean architecture, especially when downtime is costly. I diagnose and resolve production incidents in distributed systems, and I contribute to RMMS platform improvements that cut on-site technical interventions from 5+ hours of travel and manual work to ~5-minute remote operations—delivering a 98% reduction in intervention time per radar installation.

Before Indra, I modernized mission-critical software at SICE and Babel. At SICE, I developed the fire safety module for the North East Link tunnel project in Melbourne (AUD 15B+), integrating PLCs, sensor networks (smoke, ventilation, sprinklers), and control interfaces into a unified real-time system.

At Babel, I led a full migration of a legacy control application from WPF/.NET to WinUI 3 (Visual Basic → C#/.NET), improving responsiveness and thread-safety for an operator-facing control UI. I apply MVVM to decouple UI from business logic, and I refactor legacy components to align with modern .NET standards and separation of concerns.

Led a migration of a legacy WPF control application to WinUI 3 (Visual Basic to C#/.NET) as part of a bachelor's thesis, delivering a thread-safe operator UI for real-time data bursts. Applied MVVM to decouple UI from business logic and refactored components to align with modern .NET separation of concerns.
