I’m a motivated data analyst transitioning from 2+ years of accounting experience, combining strong financial domain knowledge with hands-on technical skills in SQL and R. In my Bank Reconciliation Automation project, I built a 6-script R pipeline that automates the full reconciliation workflow—from raw CSV ingestion to a formatted Excel report. Using exact reference matching (inner_join) and fuzzy matching (cross join + date/amount tolerance), I achieved a 90.3% match rate across 790 cash book and 780 bank statement records, reconciling $1,883,970.67; I also generated multiple ggplot2 visualizations and a multi-sheet openxlsx workbook for stakeholder reporting. I also designed a Star Schema in MySQL and wrote CTE- and window-function-based SQL to analyze 700,000+ job postings, extracting insights on salary trends and remote vs on-site demand.
