What I'm looking for

I seek remote freelance or contract roles producing accurate planning-ready AutoCAD 2D drawings for small-scale residential projects, with emphasis on regulatory compliance and efficient delivery.

I am an architectural designer and CAD draughtsperson with five years' professional experience producing measured surveys and planning drawings for small-scale residential projects across the UK. After an established career as a research scientist, I retrained in 2020 and have delivered accurate, compliant AutoCAD 2D drawing packages, completing an average of 6–10 projects per month.

Working remotely, I provide freelance CAD services to planning and architectural practices, including recent collaboration with Planning By Design and contract work for GMG Constructions. My project work covers garage conversions, single- and two-storey extensions, loft conversions, solar panel applications and dropped kerb applications, and I apply UK Permitted Development rights and key planning principles such as 45-degree assessments.
