What I'm looking for

I'm looking to continue strengthening threat detection, incident response, threat hunting, malware analysis, and digital forensics in a hands-on security operations role.

At FIS Global, I investigate 20–30 security alerts daily across SIEM and EDR platforms, helping contain and resolve incidents in a 24x7 SOC environment.

I've improved SOC SLA adherence from 46% to 84% by tuning detection rules and reducing false positives. My alarm tuning, suppression rules, and whitelisting reduced false-positive volume by 70–80%, allowing analysts to focus on genuine threats.

I investigate phishing emails, malicious attachments, URLs, and spoofed domains, and conduct proactive threat hunting using IOCs mapped to MITRE ATT&CK. I also coordinate incident containment, eradication, and recovery through the NIST incident response lifecycle.

Outside operational work, I maintain a malware analysis lab and practice network, memory, and disk forensics using tools including Wireshark, Volatility, and Autopsy. My M.Sc. in Cybersecurity and B.Sc. in Forensic Science support an investigative, evidence-driven approach to security operations.
