Pearl Comfort

I am a final year B. Sc. food science and technology student with a strong interest in developing practical professional skills and building a career through remote work opportunities. My academic and practical experience has given me exposure to research, data collection and organization, laboratory analysis, sensory evaluation, documentation and food processing operations.

For my final year research project, I investigated the effects of various packaging materials on the shelf life of doughnuts. This involved experimental work, lab analysis, data collection, organization and analyses, research reporting. I worked with Microsoft excel, Microsoft word, WPS Office, google and sigmaplot.

I have also gained practical exposure through both a market internship and an internship in the Cameroon Tea Estate , where I observed food processing and production procedures and developed familiarity with quality, hygiene, documentation, teamwork and workplace procedures as well as information and data collection.

My career interests include remote data entry and data-related work, research and research assistance, administrative and virtual support, content and documentation-related roles, food science and technology, food safety and quality, nutrition and food systems and other entry-level opportunities where attention to detail, organization, communication and analytical skills are valuable.

I am fluent in English and French. I am a fast learner, reliable, adaptable, and willing to learn new tools and processes.

I am particularly looking toward opportunities that allow me to contribute to real projects, gain professional experience and continue to develop skills that can support my long-term career.
