I am an experienced internal auditor and risk & compliance professional with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and over a decade of audit and risk experience across financial services, NGOs, and faith-based institutions. I have led risk-based audit plans, conducted branch and environmental inspections, coordinated with external auditors, and delivered actionable recommendations that strengthen internal controls and governance.
I have worked as an Internal Auditor and Risk & Compliance Officer across organizations including CCAP Nkhoma Synod, FINCA Malawi, and CUMO Microfinance, where I performed pre-audits, loan and field verifications, investigations, and follow-up on management corrective actions. I am a self-starter, team player, and results-oriented professional committed to improving control environments and ensuring regulatory and donor compliance.
