At Prado & Renteria, Certified Public Accountants, I lead year-end close for tax preparation and audit readiness, and implemented new workpapers and process improvements to improve workflow efficiency.
I review financial statements and reconciliations for a portfolio of 10–25 clients, prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and non-profit tax returns, and serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors. I also review and quality-check work from a team of accountants and present financial reports to management and clients.
Previously, at Provisiones Villafañe, I managed accounting for two entities and conducted internal audits of A/R and bank reconciliations. I identified SAGE system deficiencies and prepared profit and loss statements and ad hoc financial reports.
