At Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD), I lead eDiscovery and forensic investigations supporting legal, HR, and regulatory matters. I use Microsoft Purview KQL searches and Early Case Assessment to reduce review datasets by 30–70%.
I manage legal holds and defensible preservation of electronically stored information, then prepare datasets for Everlaw processing, review, and production. I also partner with counsel to refine overbroad requests and reduce review burden.
Earlier, I led hundreds of forensic investigations supporting federal criminal litigation. My reports were upheld in District Court and appellate proceedings, and I testified as an expert witness in high-profile cases.
My work has also included corporate internal investigations, joint investigations with the U.S. Secret Service and federal task forces, and maintaining forensic lab operations and evidentiary compliance standards. I hold FBI & DHS Computer and Mobile Forensics Certification and a Master of Science from California State University, Long Beach.
