As a Senior Software Developer and Technical Lead (2014–2026) at Direct Energy, Inc. / NRG, Inc., I provided design and development, system refactoring and optimization, code reviews, security patching, system administration, PROD support, debugging, on-boarding training, team management, and cross-company coordination. I specialized in Linux/PHP and AWS/Node.js development, while also ensuring operational stability and continuous improvement through hands-on technical leadership.

Before that, I built and scaled large-scale web services as self-employed (2003–2014), including Apache Linux web servers, MySQL servers, image servers, and PHP servers supporting thousands of users and 1 billion monthly advertising impressions. Earlier roles included backend development and integrations (C++, DB interfaces, XML, VB GUI), UNIX/Motif GIS and geophysical field-ops software, and UNIX X11 C-language software for NASA flight controllers supporting Shuttle and Space Station operations—where I led a team of 10 developers.
