What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a challenging Finance or Accounting position where I can apply my accounting competencies, strengthen my reporting accuracy, and use data analysis skills to support decision-making in a growth-focused environment.

I’m an Accounts Intern pursuing a Bachelor of Economics and Finance, motivated by how financial markets and economic policies shape the world. I find real fulfillment in tackling complex financial models and economic issues, and I back it up with hands-on accounting support and research experience.

At Shamba Café and Shop, I supported financial record keeping, assisted with accounts payable and receivable, processed invoices and payment tracking, and helped prepare monthly and annual financial reports (balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements). I also supported bank statement reconciliations, payroll processing (attendance, overtime, and deductions), and audit preparation—bringing accuracy and attention to detail to every task. Alongside this, I conducted undergraduate research on how climate change affects the economy, using STATA and Excel for data collection, modelling, and statistical analysis, and I’m currently training toward CPA Level I while strengthening my tools in QuickBooks, SAGE, SPSS, and advanced Excel.
