At VPAviation, I remove, repair, fabricate, and install aircraft structures made from aluminum, titanium, and steel. I fabricate doublers, frame and stringer splices, and straps, and prepare damage assessments for engineering review.
I read engineering documents such as Supplemental Type Certificates and use fasteners including Hi-lites, Solid Rivets, CherryMax, and Huck Bolts. I also coordinate with technical operations about project deadlines and parts needed for completion.
At Aspire MRO and AeroTek, I worked on aircraft structure repairs and fabrication; at Aspire MRO, I also constructed sub-assemblies, system components, and flight controls. Earlier, as a Vehicle Mechanic Apprentice at Ford, I completed vehicle servicing, replaced major components, and performed annual state inspections.
