What I'm looking for

I’m interested in using technology, data and field-based assurance to prevent, detect and respond to fraud and operational risk. I’m willing to travel locally and internationally for field-based assignments.

At Mater Misericordiae Hospital, I lead the Internal Audit function, advising management and the Governance, Risk and Audit Committee on operational, financial, compliance and control risks.

I review donor-funded projects, including the Mater Comprehensive Care Clinic funded by PEPFAR and Trocaire. I also oversee investigations into suspected fraud and operational irregularities, with a focus on evidence, accountability and control remediation.

Previously, at The Nairobi Hospital, I planned risk-based audits across clinical, financial and operational functions, led investigations, and served as Acting Internal Audit Manager in 2021. At Avenue Group of Hospitals, I established the Internal Audit function, including its charter, annual plan and audit programs.

Earlier, I supported audits and advisory work across Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania at Aga Khan University Hospital, and developed enterprise risk management frameworks, audit manuals and procurement reviews as a Senior Consultant at Management Audit Consulting Ltd. I use data analytics and tools including Power BI, IDEA Analytics and Teammate+ to support audit and risk work.
