I am a BSc Honours Environmental Science graduate (UKZN – Westville), and I’d love to bring my knowledge and enthusiasm to your growing development team. During my Postgraduate studies I was a Practical Demonstrator and a Tutor, which has made me comfortable with interacting with colleagues and other students, while equipping me with the necessary leadership qualities needed in the working world. At KCM Environmental – I was a Junior Consultant, involved with site visits and assessments, equipment set up and monitoring, report writing and presenting results, as well as marketing and administration. At Plantago Lanceolata, I held the position of Environmental Assessment Practitioner, where my duties included conducting complete EIA process (Scoping Reports, Basic Assessment Reports), Environmental Management Programme Reports, Waste Management Plans, Bio-Security Reports, Emergency Response Plans, Spill Response Plans, Stormwater Management Plans, Complete Public Participation Process, Site visits, Data collection, capturing and processing, conducting Public Participation meetings, Stakeholder engagements, presentations with competent authorities. At Yahweh Engineering & Services, I was a site agent, responsible for the management of workers on site at various Eskom power stations in the country. Through this, I’ve gained valuable experience working in a very controlled and high risk environment. I also have experience as a teacher (with TEFL qualification). I am currently a Business Administrator for ROSH Engineering, where my duties include Accounts, Company Statements, Stock control, Appointment scheduling, Customer service and contacting, Banking, Invoicing, Petty Cash, and Travel arrangements. I have excellent communication skills and enjoy being part of a team and working with others. I am a strong believer in always seeking knowledge from others, and imparting this knowledge to others whenever I can. I am a self-motivated individual, who undertakes every task with a positive mindset. I am open to instructions from others and also have a keen willingness to learn. Loyalty, adaptability and dependability are integral parts of my character. I have a good resistance to pressure and stress, and enjoy being in dynamic situations. I am a people’s person, very sociable and approachable, and enjoy interacting with others. I enjoy the challenges of working on my own, as well as being a part of a team.
