At Shepherd Youth Ranch, I facilitate counseling activities alongside mental health professionals and support at-risk youth and adolescents involved in the juvenile justice system. I maintain confidential client records and document participant behaviors to support assessments and individualized care.
I spearheaded the redevelopment and relaunch of the Trail Bosses Program for youth who have completed therapeutic services. I also conducted and coded interviews for a qualitative research project at North Carolina State University, examining adolescent social media use and sleep habits.
