What I'm looking for

I'm looking to lead high-impact tax initiatives where I can strengthen ASC 740 and state and local tax processes, uncover strategic tax savings, automate manual work, and collaborate across functions.

At The Andersons, Inc., I support federal, foreign, and state and local tax provision calculations, compliance, reconciliations, and internal controls for a publicly traded Fortune 500 company.

I've identified more than $2M in tax savings through operating-segment apportionment data corrections, over $1M through an alternative apportionment election, and increased a potential UTP benefit from $300K to $1.5M through audit strategy.

I lead state and local compliance for 60+ income and franchise filing obligations, support tax audits and federal compliance, and collaborate with HR, Payroll, Corporate Accounting, Indirect Tax, Treasury, Legal, and operating segments.

Earlier at Gilmore Jasion Mahler, I progressed from Tax Intern to Tax Supervisor, supporting partnership, S-corporation, and individual clients while training staff, mentoring teams, and managing projects.
