I’m Grace Amponsah, a finance and accounting professional with a strong background in data analysis, process improvement, and strategic problem-solving. I hold both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Accountancy with a Certificate in Financial Management from The George Washington University and am CPA eligible.

Currently, I work at Atmos Energy as a Property Tax Analyst, where I utilize tools such as SAP, Excel, Google Earth, and property tax records to analyze data, verify tax accuracy across multiple jurisdictions, and identify areas for process improvement. My work has strengthened my analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to transform complex data into clear, actionable business insights.

Before Atmos Energy, I worked at Ernst & Young (EY) and Ashford Inc., where I gained hands-on experience in tax services, internal audit, and financial reporting. In these roles, I collaborated with cross-functional teams to improve internal controls, streamline operations, and implement strategies that enhanced financial performance.

I’m also in the process of applying for a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) program, reflecting my commitment to continuous learning and advancing my expertise in business strategy, leadership, and organizational transformation.
