In my phishing investigation project, I analyzed email headers and SPF/DKIM/DMARC results to confirm sender spoofing, then examined a malicious PDF and extracted indicators of compromise.
I also investigated a DOM-based XSS attack against OWASP Juice Shop in a Kali Linux and Docker lab. I used Nmap, Burp Suite, and Wireshark to validate the attack and document network evidence.
My Suricata ruleset review identified a detection gap for the tested payload class. I documented the investigation and recommended hardening measures, including input sanitization, Content Security Policy, and custom IDS signatures.
