At UNACEM ECUADOR, I built and lead the strategy function, guiding long-term planning, business cases, and execution governance. I delivered US$1.2 million in consulting savings by leading the 2027–2035 strategic plan in-house.
I also took a new Route-to-Market model from pilot to full operation, protecting US$5.5 million in EBITDA in Pichincha. For the ready-mix line, I created a Cost Committee and selected customers by margin, turning a US$400K loss into a US$600K profit.
At PRONACA, I managed the US$70 million annual investment portfolio, overseeing project screening, evaluation, and monitoring. I introduced a CAPM and DCF valuation framework so the annual budget went only to projects clearing the 15% hurdle IRR.
Earlier at PRONACA and PRONACA – Mardex, I worked across strategic planning, corporate CAPEX control, finance, and management control. My experience spans agribusiness, animal protein, fishing and aquaculture, cement, and steel across the Andean region.
