At CFGI, I worked as a Manager and Consultant on finance transformation for a Fortune 100 hospital chain and supported fund management for The Carlyle Group. I assisted with quarterly reporting for more than 20 active portfolio companies and presented valuations to Carlyle’s Investment Committee.
I also reviewed portfolio company valuation models and exit forecasts, and assisted with fund administration, tax notices, and fund liquidations. I created finance process documentation for Conifer Health and drafted 10-Q and 10-K filings for public companies.
At Ernst & Young LLP, I coordinated audit plans for clients in mining and metals, healthcare, and technology. I performed substantive testing, researched technical accounting topics, and used advanced Excel to prepare workpapers and analyze financial statements.
More recently, I’ve worked as a Life Insurance Advisor at Symmetry Financial Group and as a Substitute Teacher and SPED / Behavioral Instructional Aide at Aubrey School District. I’m a Certified Public Accountant in Texas and hold a Texas Life and Health Insurance Producer license.
