At Qareeb, I drove the rewrite of key systems from C++ to Rust to address long-standing maintainability problems; the rewrite became the team's foundation. I lead system architecture for computer-vision, access-control, and security solutions, and own delivery from requirements through installation.
I build device firmware, a closed NVR operating system, and reproducible product OS images with Nix. As an independent contractor, I design and build operations software for manufacturing and logistics businesses, including an ERP for a clothing manufacturer and e-commerce brand.
I designed and built Silane, a Rust hardware construction language, compiler, and simulator, then used it for an RV64GC core that boots OpenSBI and Debian 13 in simulation. I also designed a VP8 hardware decoder, first in Verilog and later in Silane.
