What I'm looking for

I seek an accounting or financial reporting role in a collaborative team where I can apply IFRS knowledge, strengthen controls, and grow toward CA qualification.

I am a BSc Finance (Honours) undergraduate at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and a CA Sri Lanka (Corporate Level) candidate, combining academic grounding with practical internship experience.

During a six-month finance internship at AIA Insurance Lanka Limited I gained hands-on exposure to IFRS 17 reporting, month-end close procedures, reconciliations, and journal entry controls, supporting accurate financial measurement and audit readiness.

I am proficient in MS Excel, Power BI (basic), SPSS, IDEA and possess core strengths in financial analysis, critical thinking, time management and communication, which I apply to improve reporting accuracy and operational controls.

I am eager to launch a career in accounting within a growth-oriented finance team where I can contribute analytical rigor, learn advanced accounting practices, and help ensure financial accuracy for organizational success.
