I am seeking backend or payments engineering roles where I can design robust APIs, work on ISO/transaction systems, contribute to observability, and grow into technical leadership.

I am a motivated software engineer specializing in backend development and enterprise-grade payment solutions. I focus on building scalable, secure APIs using Java and Spring Boot and have hands-on experience with POS and ATM transaction systems.

At Epic Lanka I designed and developed backend APIs, implemented ISO 8583 message processing, and integrated solutions with banking systems to support account inquiry, payment initiation, and transaction routing. I also improved system observability by implementing ELK Stack and Grafana monitoring.

Earlier roles include Java development for government systems where I maintained secure applications and ensured compliance with confidentiality standards, and leadership experience as a team leader coordinating client requirements and delivery for SMEs.
