At Tyne Bookkeeping Services, I develop bookkeeping workflows for transaction organisation, invoicing, expense tracking, and accounts payable and receivable records.
I use Xero and other cloud accounting platforms to practise transaction coding, account organisation, and reconciliations. I also review bank and transaction records for unmatched items, missing information, and potential discrepancies.
In a systems-lab exercise, I reconciled more than 150 transactions using Xero, Sage, and Excel. My financial reporting coursework included preparing IFRS-based financial statements and supporting analysis.
I also practised audit planning, risk assessment, walkthroughs, testing, and reporting through the KPMG Audit Simulation on Forage. I hold a Diploma in Accountancy from the University of Johannesburg.
