At Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), I conduct supervised psychological assessments for patients referred from medical specialties, using clinical interviews, behavioural observation and psychometric instruments to inform case formulation and treatment planning.
I deliver supervised, evidence-based interventions for patients experiencing depression, anxiety, adjustment difficulties and emotional distress. I also provide psychoeducation to patients and families and contribute to multidisciplinary case discussions under supervision.
At the University of Lagos, I completed the academic requirements for my M.Sc. in Clinical Psychology and researched the relationship between social support and postpartum depressive symptoms among nursing mothers in Lagos State. I designed and conducted a quantitative study, analysed data in SPSS, and followed ethical review and informed consent procedures.
