Behije Skenderi

I’m an analytical chemist with over 10 years of experience in research and development, specializing in complex topical products such as creams, gels, ointments, lotions, and other semi-solid formulations.

In my roles at DPT Laboratories (a Viatris company and later a Mylan company), I’ve developed stability-indicating analytical methods for drug formulation and stability studies, and I’ve supported compliance by collaborating with regulatory affairs to ensure industry-standard cGMP alignment. I conduct forced degradation studies, perform informal stability testing, and help with pre-validation and method transfer using instrumentation such as HPLC, UPLC, GC, FT-IR, and UV-Vis.

I’m especially strong in analytical method development for assay and impurities, documentation, and execution—authoring SOPs, compiling technical reports and lab notebook records, and troubleshooting complex methods and analytical instrumentation issues. I also mentor team members, maintain meticulous experimental notes, and regularly work cross-functionally with QC, QA, and manufacturing to deliver reliable results for both proprietary and CDMO projects.
