Andrew Soriben

I’m a Licensed Civil Engineer with internship experience on public infrastructure projects and hands-on exposure to quantity take-offs, CAD drafting, estimating, and technical documentation. I enjoy turning construction drawings into accurate material quantities and clear engineering support.

In my DPWH internship (Isabela 3rd District Engineering Office), I assisted in preparing and reviewing engineering documents and reports, supported site inspections and data gathering, and interpreted basic technical drawings using CAD tools. I bring an attention to detail and practical problem-solving mindset to every deliverable.

Through projects and my thesis work, I’ve designed and analyzed a bridge project and residential buildings using structural tools like STAAD and Midas, then translated those designs into detailed quantity estimates with PlanSwift and Microsoft Excel. I’m also eager to keep growing in cost estimation, bid preparation, and engineering coordination while contributing reliably to construction and estimating teams.
