Charge Nurse focused on ward management, evidence-based care, and improved patient outcomes.
What I'm looking for
I’m a Charge Nurse with a strong focus on ward management, care coordination, and evidence-based nursing practices. I streamline workflows, enhance interdisciplinary collaboration, and consistently work toward improved patient outcomes and satisfaction.
In my current role on a female medical and surgical ward at Ahmadiyya Muslim Hospital, I implement evidence-based nursing practices and protocols, mentor and supervise junior nurses, and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. I also coordinate patient care while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and organization across daily priorities.
Previously, as a Staff Nurse at Azimbe Hospital, I reduced medication errors through meticulous charting and double-checking dosages, while improving patient satisfaction through empathetic, compassionate care. Earlier, as a Registered General Nurse with Ghana Health Services (Presbyterian Hospital), I improved outcomes through effective discharge planning and patient education on self-care, and I strengthened communication by coordinating with physicians, therapists, and case managers.
