Akshatha Matadh

I've built experience across pharmacovigilance, medical affairs, healthcare quality, and hospital operations through training at Academically Global Healthcare Academy, Aster Multispecialty Hospital, and Yenepoya Deemed to be University. My work includes ICSR concepts, MedDRA coding, safety review, literature monitoring, evidence synthesis, and clinical drug development fundamentals.

At Yenepoya, I led a multidisciplinary quality-improvement initiative focused on patient safety, care delivery, and regulatory compliance, using root-cause analysis and value stream mapping to address workflow bottlenecks. I've also authored and presented research on barriers to safe patient care, bringing clinical judgment, quality-focused decision-making, and research skills to medical affairs and drug development roles.
