At Baker Tilly Mauritius, I lead external audit engagements from planning through completion, applying International Standards on Auditing and relevant financial reporting frameworks. I assess risks and internal controls, then develop audit strategies based on the engagement’s requirements.
I review working papers, substantive procedures, analytical procedures, and tests of controls. I also coordinate with client management to resolve audit issues and obtain evidence.
Previously, at BDO Pakistan — BDO Ebrahim & Co. Chartered Accountants, I managed audit engagements as Audit In-Charge and reviewed financial statements prepared under IFRS. I prepared management letters and communications with Those Charged With Governance.
My work has included review engagements under ISRE 2410, agreed-upon procedures under ISRS 4400, and preparation of consolidated financial statements for a group based in the UAE. I’m an ACCA Member and was recognized as BDO Trainee of the Quarter.
