At Future Sight, I assisted with market and equity research to support investment decisions, and supported portfolio monitoring and risk-return analysis. I also contributed research inputs to asset allocation decisions and prepared portfolio reports.
For a project on State Bank of India (SBI), I built an Excel-based financial model for valuation analysis. I projected financials, assessed intrinsic value, and compared bull, base, and bear scenarios with peer valuation multiples.
I built and backtested a Python long/short strategy on Nifty 50 five-minute data. Across 361 trades, it recorded a 1.89 profit factor, a 51.5% win rate, and positive net P&L; I also assessed drawdown and gap-risk limits.
In a separate Python project, I used an efficient frontier and Monte Carlo simulation to compare portfolio allocations through volatility, Sharpe ratio, and Value at Risk. At IILM University, I organized finance workshops and an inter-college trading competition as Finance Club Vice President.
