If so, our sales team is seeking for Business Development Director who is eager to contribute to the company’s expansion and future growth.

What You'll Do

Join Insum as a Senior account director - Application development, and take your career to the next level. As part of our ambitious team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our company. In this role, your main responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Drive Revenue Growth: Apply innovative strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals.
  • Expand Our Client Base: Attract new customers and nurture relationships with existing ones.
  • Expand Our Partner Base: Leverage current partnerships and create new ones to expand the Insum footprint.
  • Grow the Market: Continue to grow our largest market - USA.
  • Prospect and Strategize: Seek out prospects and tailor strategies for potential customers.
  • Collaborate with Industry Experts: Partner internally with Insum Trusted Advisors to secure new sales opportunities.
  • Note that this is an individual contributor position there is no resource management.

You will be expected to master:

  • Close Deals: Follow up on sales leads – inbound and outbound – to close deals.
  • Lead Generation: Proactively generate your own leads.
  • Compelling Proposals: Develop persuasive sales proposals.
  • CRM Utilization: Use our CRM system (Salesforce) for organized sales activities.
  • Procedural Excellence: Adhere to established sales processes and procedures.
  • Account Management: Manage current accounts to aid in customer success and revenue growth for the company.
  • Collaborative Environment: Engage in weekly Sales & Marketing and Sales & Operations meetings.
  • Resource Allocation: Work closely with the Operations team for efficient resource management.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Create and present sales projections, helping steer our business.
  • Marketing Engagement: Contribute to marketing and promotional efforts.

  • Attentive listener and adaptable: you are attentive to customer needs, your adaptability allows you to tailor your approach effectively
  • Tech savvy: knowledge of best practices and market trends in cloud technologies is an asset
  • Excellent communication skills. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. Ability to effectively work in English (+ Spanish and/or French an asset)

Qualifications

What we Love to see

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with selling IT services (experience with application development an asset)
  • Established network of contacts in the IT sector (Oracle technology an asset)
  • Good understanding of IT project requirements, application development lifecycle, and professional services delivery
  • Knowledge of Oracle technologies a strong asset
  • Knowledge of Oracle APEX technology a major asset
  • Knowledge of business practices in the US and Canada
  • Experience in drafting calls for tenders, demonstrating an understanding of IT project requirements, application development lifecycles, and professional services delivery
  • Able to use analysis and creativity to solve problems and find alternatives
  • Strong organizational skills and sense of responsibility
  • Strong interest in providing excellent customer service
  • Ability to work with tight schedules and to adapt to an ever-changing and dynamic environment
  • Available to travel
