The Role

As a Technical Operations Analyst, you’ll be an important part of a relatively new team responsible for making sure everyone at Prolific has the tools and capabilities they need to do their best work. You’ll handle onboarding and offboarding, provide direct technical support to our growing team of Prolificos, manage our fleet of macOS devices and our growing software stack, get involved in projects and initiatives across the company and much more.

You’ll play a key role in the maintenance and security of the technical infrastructure our Prolificos depend on every day, and make sure we remain compliant with the highest information security standards in everything we do. As an early member of a growing function, you’ll be vital in supporting the growth of Technical Operations at Prolific as we continue to scale.

What you'll be doing

  • Provide direct technical support to solve technical problems for everyone at Prolific.
  • You’ll set up new joiners with all of the accounts and systems they need for their first day, and run onboarding sessions to guide them through getting familiar with and using our internal tooling.
  • Work within the TechOps team to implement solutions to technical problems and automate manual processes, enhancing the technical capabilities of the team.
  • Write and develop documentation to support the work we’re doing and the processes we’re building.
  • Managing the onboarding and offboarding of SaaS products, and maintaining access controls for our systems on a daily basis.
  • Support on wider company initiatives like the achievement of security certifications and enabling the company to scale at pace without technical blockers.
  • You’ll support supplier management, understanding how our suppliers work with our internal teams to ensure we get value for money, and you’ll work closely with teams to plan for and execute seamless renewals on time and within budget.

What you’ll bring

  • Proven experience in a support capacity and demonstrable technical proficiency, particularly in troubleshooting macOS devices.
  • Working knowledge of Google Workspace and mobile device management platforms like Kandji.
  • Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and technology infrastructure.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in scripting and automation.

Even better if you have

  • Knowledge of industry specific regulations, like Cyber Essentials, SOC2 and ISO 27001.
  • Knowledge or experience around APIs.
  • A background in technical support.

What you’ll get

⚖️ Work Life Balance: We’re all looking to strike the right work life balance, and as a remote first company you’re able to work flexibly from home or our dog-friendly co-working space in Shoreditch and Manchester. We also offer 25 days of holiday, plus bank holidays of course, which you can switch with any day of your choosing.

🏡 Family Life: We offer generous maternity, paternity and shared parental leave. Need to pick your child up from school? No Problem. Our flexible working gives you the childcare flexibility you need.

🧘 Wellbeing: We care deeply about our employees well-being, that’s why we offer comprehensive Bupa private health insurance, that disregards medical history. Taxable monthly stipend of £150 in order for you to improve your wellness and remote experience. We want you to have a happy and healthy environment so we offer a £1000 home office budget, along with a MAC laptop when you start, plus a £200 yearly top-up.

📚 Learn Grow: Development is important to us, and we want to give all our employees the opportunity to learn. There are many personal growth and career progression opportunities available, as well as mentoring. We also offer a £1000 yearly budget for education, growth and training for you to use at your discretion

💙 Culture: We’re a friendly bunch here at Prolific; open, transparent and inclusive. Although we’re a remote first company we still love to hang out with each other! We run collaborative quarterly company-wide meets up and team socials (both virtually and in-person), all paid for. Alongside this we offer a yearly budget for discretionary meet-ups so you can cover travel, food and accommodation. As a business we’re also committed to carbon offsetting; each month we donate money in your name to plant trees 🌳 and being remote we’re doing our bit to offset travel too
