What you’ll do…

  • Oversee the day-to-day productivity of a team of Account Executives (AEs)
  • Ensure proper deal and pipeline management in CRM for confidence and accuracy in forecasting
  • Help the sales team evolve talking points, objection handling, demonstration skills, deal control, and other tactics
  • Get directly involved when necessary to support more strategic and complex opportunities
  • Maintain a positive, high-energy, and supportive environment for the team and embody the Xello culture
  • Support the team’s professional and personal development with regular coaching, constructive feedback, and opportunities for growth
  • Conduct weekly 1:1 meetings with each AE and provide real-time feedback when shadowing calls or sales meetings
  • Establish and track team KPIs with metrics reporting in Salesforce (pipeline, close rates, win rates, etc.)
  • Recruit, onboard, and train new AEs
  • Take an active and leading role in weekly, monthly, and annual sales meetings
  • Cross collaborate with other revenue leaders and teams
  • Attend company functions as appropriate
  • Attend conferences and other in-person sales presentations as needed

What we’re looking for…

  • 3+ years of managing a sales team or the equivalent, ideally in a SaaS environment
  • A team player who is open to growth and professional/personal development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organization, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Highly motivated and self-directed with a strong record of success
  • A great attitude and persistent approach to work
