Our position is currently 100% remote, but our customer may ask teammates to return to a hybrid schedule supporting an in-office requirement in Washington, D.C. Therefore, we are only considering candidates in the DC metro area.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide expertise and guidance to help manage and improve organizational IT cost transparency and IT planning
- Provide timely, accurate management, analysis, reporting and communication of Information Technology business results
- Build data workflows to support automation of financial processes
- Review and analyze data elements to map to Technology Business Management(TBM) framework
- Provide analysis and timely reporting and communication of financial data
- Work efficiently and effectively with multiple levels of management and staff across the organization
- Utilize knowledge of IT services and financial management processes and best practices such as budgeting, cost allocations, capital & operating expense handling, program portfolio management, and application/infrastructure support
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- Two years of professional experience
- Experience in coordinating, facilitating and managing annual business planning across technology operations in conjunction with senior leaders, application managers, infrastructure business services managers
- Experience in IT inventory and expense management, vendor management, cost allocation, and Technology Business Management Office
- Working knowledge and understanding of government accounting and different dollar types (obligations, expenses, etc.)
- Understanding of TBM concepts and taxonomy (cost pools, towers, etc.)
- Experience in IT operations and IT financial management
- Experience facilitating discussions with financial management, IT operations, and business unit leadership personnel
- Must have strong attention to detail, specifically when managing large datasets
- Knowledge of TBM tools is preferred
- Knowledge of ETL tools (specifically Alteryx) is a plus
- Basic knowledge of SQL is a plus
- Knowledge of other costing tools, and IT service management tools is a plus
- The ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting Federal contracts preferred
- Experience with Department of Veterans Affairs and/or Veterans Health Administration is a plus.
